Introduction Post – EMPR 240

Hello everyone! My name is Hailey Pride, I am a second year student at Queen’s University majoring in Gender Studies. I am also completing both the Certificate of Law and Certificate of Employment Relations. Hailey is the name I prefer to be referred to. My first job was as a deli clerk at a grocery store named Foodland within my hometown. It was definitely not my first choice as a job as I wasn’t fond of the duties I had to complete. But it was a good option since I was only fifteen years old and I had to wait until I was sixteen to work within retail. I am most interested in learning about the wage regulation in Canada and relate that content to themes and knowledge from my other gender studies courses.
